About Us
It has been nearly ten years since the birth of my first child. At that time I started looking for a way to still be able to walk the dogs now that I had a large six month old baby who had simply got too heavy to carry in a sling.
I purchased a back-pack, but soon found lugging 20Ibs on my back for forty minutes a day, very hard work. I had seen ATP’s (All Terrain Pushchairs) advertised in glossy magazines with the likes of Tom Cruise jogging along behind. The mountain bike style tyres and excellent three wheel design allow you to negotiate rough ground comfortably, whilst making it easy to manoeuvre on tarmac and the other surfaces you find around town.
Practical Pushchairs was originally setup to import InStep jogging strollers and all terrain pushchairs from America. Since then we have adapted and changed as this popular market has grown, and we now sell a complete range of single and double all terrain pushchairs from a variety of manufacturers including the ever popular Out’n’About, Mountain Buggy, and the innovative Phil and Teds ranges.
Practical Pushchairs is a family run business. We have worked hard to put together a range of buggies where there should be something for everyone!!
All the pushchairs that we sell conform to the latest British Safety Standards BS/EN.1888.2003
